APPEALING:what to write? (admited but want to switch majors..)

<p>Hello everyone!</p>

<p>Okay i’m new at this…</p>

<p>I was admitted to Cal for College of Natural Resources. I really want to do environmental science, but then i thought about it and realized i want to do engineering…(career wise) and I could do so much more to help the environment as an engineer. and they have a really strong civil/environmental engineering, esp. considering that its grad school is number 1 in that dept. </p>

<p>So basically, I would like to transfer to the engineering dept. by writing an appeal letter…</p>

<p>what points should i cover? any ideas? THANK YOU!!!</p>

<p>You can transfer after you begin…I just recevied an email about a transfer to bioengineering and they said alot of students transfer their sophomore year…If you are admitted I dont think that an appeal is the right course of action…</p>

<p>I also might want to transfer into the College of Natural Resources…but I will wait until I have a semester or two completed…</p>

<p>uh i didnt know you can appeal to change majors…your best luck is to own all the pre-req classes and apply to the school soph year…</p>

<p>You appeal a rejection. You weren’t rejected, so why appeal?</p>

<p>ahahah you can change your major as many times as you like once you’re in if u got the time to take all the prereqs</p>
