apple address book help needed

I have an ipod touch- a blackberry and a macbook pro running 10.6
I can’t sync my contact lists, because when upgrading to the newest system software on the various things, contacts have gotten all wonky ( sometimes 5 duplicates for one entry) and I don’t want to make it worse.

What is the simplest way to fix it?

I wish I knew! I have been having similar problems between my macbook and iphone and the family mac desktop. Keep meaning to take the time to sit and figure it out, but that hasn’t happened!

I am glad to hear I am not the only one- whenever I have free time, I delete the extras on my blackberry or ipod- but it also seems like they creep back on!

Son uses something called MobileMe to sync his stuff.

MobileMe costs $99 a year (60 day free trial). I think that’s crazy–it ought to be free!

I think you can buy it through amazon.com for about $63 for an individual box or around $78 for the family pack.

It would be nice if was free. Unfortunately, it’s not.
