<p>Anyone have some suggestions for a couple of good books to help me learn the OS and applications found on a MACBook Pro? I’m an old PC Windows workhorse and my daughter’s new MacBook that she got at UArts has me confounded!

<p>I use Windows on PCs and OSX on my MacBook Pro (also with Windows installed) and, while not an expert in either, would be happy to try to help with basic questions.</p>
<p>boulderdad, thanks for the offer. It appears, however, that my difficulties were just mine - and not my daughter’s! After a week, she is as proficient with the MacBook Pro as I am with Windows. Must have something to do with the flexibility of a youthful mind!</p>
