<p>Keep in mind that some boarding school acceptance rates this year are lower than several of the Ivy’s, MIT or Duke! One website said the average Ivy League acceptance rate last year was 15.6%! I know that does not make you feel any better, but it does lend some perspective. I hope all of you get into at least one school you applied to! And remember, the school that admits you is THE Best School.</p>

<p>My daughter is waitlisted at Exeter and St Pauls. A Fedex packet just arrived from Andover, so I’m hopeful… We promised her we wouldn’t open her responses. Still waiting on Groton and Concord Academy.</p>

<p>yes we will create an alliance!!! if i dont get into anything this year i am so applying to exeter again next year…i have such a good and selfless mommy…we applied for FA this year and she says " <em>alison</em> next year we will do full pay if it means you can get in"

<p>I’m just saying that assign is a very strong applicant and she WOULD definitely be accepted to at least one BS if she applied as a FP. It’s not a guarantee, but I’ve seen 5 kids or so getting rejection letters with a “sorry we reject you because you applied for aid” on them(not this year). They’re from China. </p>
<p>You can find the “aid is very rare for int’ls” statement on every school’s website.</p>

<p>Hi everyone, I’m a new member of cc. I’m an international student (from Vietnam) and I’ve just received the acceptance letter from VA (Vermont). I applied for financial aid; however, in the email they didn’t mention about the FA or send any document about FA (just the contract, acceptance letter, etc.) Should I ask them about the FA?</p>
<p>they will send it to you later if you got FA, they do stuff like that seperately, call in a few days if you don’t get anything in a couple day cuz think are hectic for admis. officers right now</p>
