<p>No. Monday is the beginning of finals week. I go to school from 7:00 to like 11:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for finals. On thursday, I get out at like 9:30 because I only have 1 final that day. It is the last week of school but is just all finals, so NO MORE HOMEWORK!!!</p>

<p>What!! You guys still have school left. I finished school about a week ago and my old school finished about 2 weeks ago and I thought my school got out late. Then again you probably start school after we do.</p>

<p>My school ends June 16! And I graduate Middle school on June 16! Then I only have the summer between Exeter and I!</p>
<p>In the south, school starts in August and lets out in May. In the northeast, it starts the day after labor day and runs into the third week of June. My kids’ last day of classes was Friday and now they just have finals. All in all, I think most kids in American public schools have 180 days of classes a year.</p>
<p>Being the data addict that I am, I counted the days in Exeter’s academic calendar and found that it’s about the same number of days as public but that over 50 of them are half days.</p>

<p>We have…260 days or so. There’s tons of homework for winter and summer “vacations”. (we only have two)</p>
<p>Yep…Good ole’ south. School starts in late August and ends in May, but we still get in those 180 days.
gonnastop: Now, I understand why most asians are smarter; they have 80 more school days then most Americans students.</p>
<p>^^we have like a million vacations (abt a wk or so long) and usually 1 federal holiday a month.</p>
<p>In NE, schools are moving to starting before Labor Day and getting out earlier.</p>
