<p>Boston University - their supplement question said list three words that best describe you and how they will contribute fully the the BU community. Really? Not contribute partially? And only three words?! Gimme a break! hahaha it was like pulling teeth.</p>

<p>i have the same question as u A7, im going to start a thread on what to wear to an interview</p>
<p>Wear dress (unless your touring then it might not be comfortable)
slacks and sweater (make sure it’s warm enough)
a suit (these might make you look more sophisticated)
or nothing (you might get rejected from the school immediately or be chased off the campus, whichever comes first)</p>
<p>I’m so glad I’m not applying to BU then. I mean if I lived in Boston I probably would, so…so glad I don’t live in Boston xD </p>
<p>Wear business casual to school-dress-code casual for interviews. A lot of guys wore suits and ties (okay so every guy there did, haha) but for girls there was a lot more variety. Skirts and sweaters were really common. And flats. I wore business pants, this blouse thing, flats, and a peacoat. If you have something like a conservative-looking cardigan, go with that along with a random skirt you have.</p>
<p>is that for off- or on-campus, cuz im doing an off-campus interview</p>
<p>I think both are pretty much the same, except sometimes off-campus means going into an alumni’s house and wearing overly stuffy clothes for that would be aaawkward.</p>
<p>I don’t interview till Janurary. Guess what? I finished an essay, but it was kind of wierd (Exeter’s fav. word). Do you think I should convert it to once I thought this word was the best then I changed my mind for Andover’s? Or is that just plain wierd…</p>
<p>I’m not sure you should do that, because you’re writing about applying to another school in your Andover essay. Even if you take it out of context and just talk about like this word was best and now it’s not, that’s kinda…weird, Paula xD unless you make it funny or something</p>

<p>paula, i applied to milton last year. i chose the back in time prompt and talked about the renaissance and the victorian era since both had a boom in fresh ideas and motivated minds and stuff like that. if you want i could send it to you, if i can find it >.<</p>

<p>Paula, that topic sucks major poop. Lol, great wording I know 
describing the environment could go so many ways. They ask these questions with something already in mind - like how it has shaped you for college readiness and what you’ll bring to the table. All essays, no matter what the prompt, go full circle to that simple idea.</p>
