<p>@ BlueRaven1: I was a waay late applicant, didn’t start my essays until late november. Yes, there was a ‘group’ (TomTheCat, Saer, and principalviola are the most memorable, but there were others). TomTheCat is at Andover, Saer is at Choate, and PV “moved” i.e. was probably a ■■■■■, but i still have good memories of him. </p>
<p>as for admissions, we put their names into one of those rollers they use for bingo and randomly select who gets in. No, we fill out a form about applicant, checking off where they stand in terms of enthusiasm, interest, etc. There’s also a comments section. Admissions does take our comments seriously . My biggest piece of advice is RELAX. They know you’re nervous. we know you’re nervous. Hell, my first tour i was probably more nervous than the applicant. </p>
<p>@PaulaZaria: Middlesex shines in humanities, specifically WRITING. The math program is good. The science program is also quite good, but i think you could probably find a comparable one at a top public scool with lots of funding.</p>

<p>my sister only applied to one school, plus she’s an overachiever so she took like 1 day to do her exeter essays and handed everything in on time and we barely knew she was applying.
it makes me feel bad looking at the perfect one b/c i’m the one whos actually motivated. they had to force her to apply and filled out most of the stuff for/with her.
