<p>The lower-48? I know the 48 refers to the continental states, but what’s lower…wouldn’t that be … higher…for hawaii? I’m confused

<p>lol, lower-48 is just the continental US. Hawaii and Alaska refer it to as the lower-48 regardless of actual placement in Hawaii’s perspective… i guess.</p>
