<p>I have a brother who is in his senior year at Columbia. How do I indicate this when the Year Received (Degree) only goes up to 2009? Also, would answering “Have you conferred with any Columbia representative about the admissions process (e.g., admissions officer, coach, alumnus, faculty member)? If so, with whom?” give you any advantage?</p>
<p>I think it does give you a slight advantage to confer with a representative, it shows interest in the school. I don’t think it’s a make or break factor.</p>
<p>And I’m not sure about your brother, sorry!</p>
