Application and frat life

I have a couple of questions for you guys,

I’d like to attend USC next fall (2009), but I have some concerns.

I’m from Quebec
Obviously, english is not my 1st language
I’ll be 22 next fall
I already have a BA from a canadian university
I will apply for an undergraduate degree out of my previous field of studies.

From what stated above, even If I get good SAT and TOEFL scores, will I have trouble being admitted ?

Also, will I have trouble joining a frat house ? Are they only looking at people freshly out of high school ? Do they ignore foreigners ? etc.

If it’s not the case, is there some houses you would recommend to me ?

I’m an outgoing person, like to party, good athlete (Should join the hockey team, and give a try at the tennis team if possible), good student, lot of leadership, I’m not afraid of hazing, etc.

Thank you !

In regard to joining a fraternity…

Lots of international students rush and pledge, so it definitely shouldn’t be a problem. Just make a point to go out to rush and get to know lots of brothers.

You’re older, but as long as you explain that you’re serious about pledging, that shouldn’t be a problem either.

Are you 100% sure that you want a second undergraduate degree? Unless you are interested in another undergraduate degree which matches a job upon graduation (for example, Viterbi engineering, etc.) why not just apply to a master’s degree program at USC?
