<p>I was admitted to Yale today. However, I’ve realized that there may be a possible problem. </p>
<p>I recently dropped my off-season Cross Country class in March, and sent an e-mail to Yale informing them of this. I received an automated reply that the update would be added to my file, but to fax future updates.</p>
<p>However, I never received an e-mail stating that the update was added to my file. Should I contact Yale to make sure that they know I dropped my Cross Country class?</p>
<p>I don’t think it would hurt, they’ll see it on your final transcript anyway. Just explain what happened, I doubt dropping XC will change your decision, not like it’s an academic class.</p>

<p>I did write an essay about Cross Country, though I wasn’t recruited and I don’t plan on running.</p>
