This box is basically to explain the anomaly in grades, etc. I’ll be including a short sentence on why my grades dropped that’s corroborated by my gc. However, I did quit band senior year and was wondering if I should explain? I quit basically to work and had a realization that my passion in stem was greater than mine in music, as I increased my courseload. Any (speedy) feedback would just be amazing since it’s due today by midnight! Thank you!

Do you mean you quit band to take a paid job? Did you need the job? If so, you can explain that. But your job will be on your application, so an explanation isn’t necessary tbh. You shouldn’t get into becoming more interested in science than music. Many kids have changing interests. Be wary of trying to explain everything, because it can end up sounding like an excuse. You have something that will be corroborated by your GC, and that’s preferrable to trying to explain things on your own.
