Hi, everyone. Last year, I decided to take AP Psychology online because it wasn’t offered at my school. First semester was fine, but during second semester, I ran into problems. Because of a hectic extracurricular schedule and other difficult classes, I just physically did not have enough to time to finish the class. This resulted in me receiving an F for the class. It wasn’t because the work was too difficult, just that I didn’t turn in a ton of stuff. In order to fix this on my transcript, I’ve been retaking AP psychology second semester through a different online source. The plan was to have everything finished before I applied to UW, but I just found out that I can’t take the final exam for another two weeks, which is obviously after the deadline. What can I do about this? I feel as though I’m a fairly strong candidate, but an F on my transcript will look horrible. If I explain my situation in the additional comments section of the application, do you think that will help? Pretty stressed out now.
