I am wondering if this scenario will affect my application status. There was confusion in the application for one of the schools and I ended up having my previous teacher turn in a rec instead of a current teacher. They called my parents and said that I need to have a current teacher do it. Will this discrepancy affect my admission chances?
As long as it was an honest mistake and you have this corrected, it should not affect things. In fact, having the additional teacher recommendation may strengthen your application.
