Hello! I am just curious if someone can just look over my stats and ecs. I am currently looking to apply to the Ivy Leagues and select UC schools. I am currently a junior in Canada and planning on going into either data science/economics or business.

From grades 9-10: 96% average
IB Diploma program: Predicted Score 40/45

SAT
SAT R: 1520/1600
Sat Subject: Couldn’t take them because of COVID but planning on taking SAT Chemistry, Math II, and US history

AP (self study)
Grade 9: AP Microeconomics (5), AP Macroeconomics (5)
Grade 10: AP Statistics (5), AP Psychology (4)

Awards
2019: AIME qualifier
A few debate awards (Stanford+Berkeley)
Runner-up at a business case competition with over 250 people
2nd place at a regional mathematics competition and qualified for the provincial event (qualified for the top 30 post-provincials event hosted by the UBC Mathematics department)

ECs
2019-2020: Secretary-General of a 3 day, 2 night MUN conference with over 500 conference participants
2020-2021: Director of Logistics at a 3 day, 2 night MUN conference that has hosted more than 900 conference attendees each year.
2019- Present: Played French Horn in our school’s musical
2017-2019: Played Tenor saxophone for a youth jazz band that I had to audition for
Grade 7-Grade9: Volunteered at our Church’s Sunday School
Grade 8-Grade10: Member of a local Kendo club

You’re as good a candidate as any for these schools. Of course, applying as an international student, it’ll be even harder. Make sure to have some matches and safeties as well and you’ll be golden!

I think you should definitely have a solid chance but just be sure that you work on your essay and try to express who you are outside of academics
