Application Fee Not Downloaded?

<p>There are a few schools on the Common App for which my Payment status is still ‘submitted,’ rather than ‘downloaded’ like the Application itself and the supplement. I made these payments over a month ago, and the status still hasn’t changed–and for some schools, on their own status check websites, it says that the payment has already been processed. So I’m not sure if I should be concerned about this? Part of my worry comes from the fact that my friends, who submitted their applications almost a month after mine, have already been called for interviews–so I’m concerned that my applications may not actually be complete.</p>

<p>Also, this is a different question, but on the Common App I indicated I was intending to apply for financial aid for each school. If I change my mind and don’t apply for financial aid, do I need to notify the school as well?</p>

<p>If you change your mind and don’t apply for finaid, contact the school. It could affect your chances of admission at “need-aware” colleges.</p>

<p>As to the payments, I think a phone call to the college in question would be in order. Have your receipts handy when you call. Just tell them you’re following up because you submitted your payment some time ago but haven’t received confirmation online, so you want to make sure they’ve received your payment.</p>
