<p>i don’t think so but if i can remember correctly, the application asks if you are related to anyone who has been or is an employee of the University of California. If they ask for relations that attended UC, I’m guessing it would count as a good thing.</p>

<p>I would think that if anything it could help your chances a lot because of it, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t play a factor.</p>
