I Applied to Syracuse University as a regular decision applicant. A few weeks later (just recently), i receive an email from the Syracuse Admissions office asking me to retake my ACT’s with the writing. At that time, I did not realize Syracuse University required the writing, I submitted my ACT’s without the writing, and I’m not sure what to do now.

The Next ACT testing date is in April and Applicants receive a decision from Syracuse in Mid May/Early April.

Should I Call the Admissions office? i’m not exactly sure what to do here, i Would indeed love to go to Syracuse University but the deadline would already be passed and i do not want to have my application wasted.

So you didn’t take the Act with Writing? If you didn’t end up taking the writing portion you definitely should call the admissions office. Depending on your credentials they might just put you on the waiting list and then you could get in the school that way. But you definitely need to call so they won’t think you don’t really care, they will like that your showing an interest and really want to attend. They will be very willing to work with you if that’s the case.

You will have to call since you can’t register for the February 9th test. You may have to try to get into the next SAT testing section, because they should accept that, as well. If you already took the SATs, but didn’t send them, you should do so now.

@ KD94025, the next ACT is in April and i know that Michigan starts to send applications by march, i submitted my application in december but i’m worried i will miss my chance.
