I am a junior and i am really interested in brown’s plme program?
How does it work if you want to apply early?
After they accept you once youve applied early, is there an interview process that follows? any information will help. thanks

Once they accept you they accept you. The only “complication” is whether you want to be considered to be admitted to Brown ED even if you are not admitted to PLME (you may say that you’d like to be deferred to RD if they won’t accept you into both early).

thanks so much! i kept thinking there had to be an interview given and i was worried because i live in california and going to RI for an interview… ~_~

Please read this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/brown-university/810532-brown-interview-faq-answers.html

There is no separate process for PLME when it comes to interviewing.

wow that was reallly helpful! thank you soo much!
btw is the weather really extreme there? being a west coaster…the weather here is really warm and it rarely snows here!

It’s new englandish weather.

You’ll get snow in winter and 90’s in summer, as well as everything in between.

You’ll also get summer instead of spring: today it was 91, yet most the trees are just starting to bud. Go figure.

New England is great if you like things to change. And in ways you’re not expecting.

And Saturday will be about 55. It’s not that we don’t get spring, so much as it’s not really the “ideal” Spring one may be used to.

Hah that good! Just never been in snow so living it in… Kinda worried there lol
