<p>I’m applying regular decision and I have a couple of questions. I know some of my questions are trivial, but Chapel Hill is my first choice.
- I got a recommendation from my foreign language teacher who has taught me for 4 years and loves me and a supplemental recommendation from my girl scout leader. Should I try to get a second recommendation from another teacher or is this enough?
- For my short essay I did topic 6 (What is the best advise you have ever given and received?) and for my long essay I was going to do topic 7 (the one where you can use an essay from a different school). The problem being is that for the long essay I was going to use my common app’s topic of choice essay. Is this ok to use for the long essay even though it is a topic of choice?
- I know so many people ask questions about this, but is like 290 words ok for the short essay?
