I was filling out the application today (early start) and I noticed there are two requirements. One is a visual/performing arts requirement. I took Mixed Choir for two years but choir doesn’t seem to be an option. Also I wanted to know what sort of classes count for the college elective requirement. Okay thank you so much! I am finalizing my schedule in a few days and I need to make sure I have all the requirements to apply.

I think choir should be an option (it is at my school). What are the options that you can select?

The college elective requirement can be satisfied in many ways. You can either take courses approved just for the “g” requirement, or you can take an additional year of a certain subject (see below)
Here is a resource: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/a-g-requirements/index.html
Quoted from the link above: “One year (two semesters), in addition to those required in “a-f” above, chosen from the following areas: visual and performing arts (non-introductory-level courses), history, social science, English, advanced mathematics, laboratory science and language other than English (a third year in the language used for the “e” requirement or two years of another language)”
Also, I think you can satisfy this requirement with some other tests / courses. See the complete list under G) College-preparatory elective (in the link above)
Here is another resource (a-g list) if your high school, program, online publisher or community college is in California, https://hs-articulation.ucop.edu/agcourselist#/list/search/all It shows which courses in those schools satisfy the a-g requirement.
Finally, here is one more resource from https://admissions.universityofcalifornia.edu/applicant/html/caq.html
Course Work → What are ‘a-g’ subject areas?
What are ‘a-g’ subject areas?
We call academic subjects (history/social science, English, etc.) the ‘a-g’ subject areas. Each accredited California high school has a list of courses that have been certified by UC as meeting the ‘a-g’ subject requirements. If you attended school outside of California, list your courses in the appropriate subject areas.
If you are in a California high school, you can look up a-g courses at https://hs-articulation.ucop.edu/agcourselist#/list/search/all .
If not, you can look at listings for California high schools to see if similar courses are listed. Choir courses are listed in the (f) category for some high schools:

Ok thank you so much!!
