<p>is anyone else having a problem connecting to the USC admission site? for the last few days, i just keep getting this error message:</p>

<p>Ah ok, well I just logged in with IE 8 fine using the uscconnect link. Maybe you should upgrade IE?</p>
<p>Thr url I linked to is the direct link to the application login to only view/edit/submit the application. The uscconnect is the main one where you can also view financial stuff and what not, try using my url instead and see if it works.</p>
<p>USC connect is horrible. I use the camel2 site.</p>
<p>the thing is, USC Connect is fine until i go to the Admission tab and click Undergraduate Application. once i do that, it gives me the error message. i tried it on my sister’s ipod touch and the same thing happens.</p>
<p>i tried the camel2 site, but it wont let me sign on; its saying im using the wrong id/password. the thing is, i dont remember ever making an id/password for the camel2 site…but ive been working on my app through USC Connect…</p>

<p>Yeah, see what happened with me was I made an account with an old email and started filling out the application for fun in May, that was before USCconnect existed. Then I forgot about it and made a new account in July to fill out Part 1. When it came time to fill out part 2 in november, I couldn’t sign in to USC connect with my part 1 email, just my old one. I emailed them about it and they linked me to the camel2 site, where my new email worked. Had to fill everything out again though…</p>

<p>Yeah you have to create a new username and password for the camel2 site, its not the same as the USConnect login details. I think you have to put in your USC ID number when you sign up or something.</p>
<p>hm, but if i make an account on the camel2 site, wont that mean i have 2 separate accounts (that one, and my usc connect one)? and wont i have to start the whole application over?</p>

<p>I believe you can only access your application through USConnect (not 100% sure though). Camel2 gives you much easier access to status updates and your document list. (These are available with USConnect as well, but most people, including myself, find that site a bit annoying)</p>
<p>I login to camel2 to access my application and can use the same login/pw at the usc connect page as well. I prefer logging into the camel2 page because it kicks you right into the application where as usc connect is more of a portal for everything else.</p>
<p>hey everybody! thanks for all your responses. i tried the camel2 site again on a different computer and it worked fine. my laptop has some bugs and issues with freezing, so i think that was the problem (which is weird, since most every other website works fine on it). thanks for your feedback, i can always count on the collegeconfiedential-ites to try to help out :-]</p>
