Which leads me to this question: Is it okay for an application to be bigger than an envelop (like if my plan works and I get my book published I want to send it to them, also I want to send them a song, and maybe something else)?</p>
<p>Be very careful about what you add. More is not always better. There is an expression “the thicker the file the thicker the applicant”.</p>

<p>If your book is published, send them the title, and the name of the publisher, as well as any reviews.
If it is a reputable publisher, rather than a “vanity press”, adcoms will recognize the significance.</p>
