Anybody else stressed out about college apps and more specifically combined degree apps? How are you going about your application process? Has anyone started filling out an application yet?

im almost done my PSU app.

i would die to get into that program

I’m busy trying to think of bs “academic honors” I received in the past 3 years.

Unfortunately they’re all things we raise our eyebrows at for about 5 seconds after receiving them and forgetting all about them until application time.

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in putting sites for college application downloads on this thread. It would really help all of us out and if we all pitch in and post even one per person, our lives would be easier. I’ll post some if others do. Anyone agree/disagree or feel like posting?

Yeah, how about you start and I’ll be right behind you.

alright, i’ll be the first:
northwestern is

I dunno about you guys but I’m trying to do as many as I can off of the common app website + individual supplements. On the supplements there are usu 1 or 2 extra essays for the med program.

tsk lazy lazy ;]

not talking about sohni btw

guys i wrote my essay and its about 700 words. Is it ok if i exceed the limit of 500-600 words?

yes im freaking out…and i cant get myself to start

damn senior year will be quite something

Get them done NOW. Trust me, you’ll enjoy senior year a lot more. Get the applications out of the way the first two months of school you’ll thank me later especially if you are applying to a lot of schools.

Also, if you aren’t 100% about being a doctor or doing a med program, I wouldn’t spend as much time on the multiple degree program apps. There are different strategies for doing regular undergrad apps and med program applications. Good luck, but dont stress over it too much; you’ll all get into a program if you really want it.

They might be a b**ch now, but if you procrastinate on them, you wont forgive yourself.

out of curiosity, is 8-9 applications enough (6 combined and 2-3 regular)?

thats enough

im doing 8 apps (4 combined and 4 regular)
