Application submission time vs. supplement submission time

When looking at when students applied to their university, do admissions officers look at the date the student submitted the application, or the date they received the transcript and letters of rec?

I submitted my applications for 2 EA colleges about 2 weeks ago but my school has still not sent my transcripts. Could my school submitting materials last minute reflect poorly on me?

As long as all of the stuff from the student is submitted on time, the college won’t fault you for teachers submitting recs late or your high school secretary getting the transcript in late. That is out of your control.

Agreed. You need to submit your part on time, but most schools give a little leeway for the documents that are outside of your control.
