Any way to verify the completeness of the application?

You'll get a postcard. And a blue letter later on with your password for online notification of your decision on April 1.

ive been signing in my account just to see if anything happens...hehe....i feel like im playing peek-a-boo

but I had a screw-up with one of my other applications, so I just wanted to verify that they received everything..

havnt gotten jack. :(

nothin yet

nothing. absolutely nothing. :(

i got my email acknowledgement five days ago

got it after my interview inviting me for an interview.

You get a postcard later saying that they got all your necessary stuff. But it's actually kind of confusing,
this is what I got:
;/a>

You can always call their office to verify your application.

I figure they'll write me if I'm missing anything. That's how I'm dealing with Brown, who still hasn't received my Part 2 even though I submitted it online. Meh

" With this postcard we acknowledge receipt of the admissions documents needed to reivew your application to Yale."

That says it right there. They will let you know if you're missing anything. (from past experience.)

I got it last week

ASAP, I know that's what it says, but then it goes on to say all that about maybe, perhaps not having SAT scores, so I was just wondering if the "admissions documents" referred to MY part of the app (common + supplement + fee) or if it also includes teacher recs, school report/transcript.

It means they have everything they need right now.
The score report stuff is mentioned because occassionally they discover the CB scores are not sent (or misfiled!) Don't worry about this, because they already have the scores, as you've listed them on the app. If it comes down to verifying scores that haven't been officially sent, (by then, you're most likely in!) they'll contact you. Also, if they find they don't have a teacher rec, they'll also contact you. This will not affect your admission chances. I think they were trying to give more info on the card so kids wouldn't worry, but it just stirs anxious minds! Try to relax.

lol thanks! I guess I just wish I got more mail from Yale, lol. I've already had my interview so I guess I'm just left with the long wait until April 1.

don't be scared if you haven't received yours yet, guys! It took FOREVER for me to get mine during the EA process..

at this point i haven't received anything from yale and some other rd kids at my school have been contacted for interviews already, while i haven't heard from anyone. should i worry??? Do u think that the yale admissions office would tell me if they received my app

Did you do it by mail or online? If by mail, you might want to check that they physically received it. Usually they wouldn't "lose" it if it was online though.
