<p>I applied to NU many months ago via the Common App for the Theatre major, and have heard absolutely nothing from them. Nothing confirming that they even got the Common App submission. However, when I called them a week or so ago, they said that they have everything that they need from me. </p>
<p>Is that bizarre, or am I just reading too much into it?</p>
<p>There is nothing odd at all that you would not have heard from Northwestern. Many many many colleges are NOT rolling admissions. Nobody will hear from Northwestern until late March when all decisions in the regular decision round come out at one time.</p>
<p>Hmm, that seems a bit odd to me. I got my “we received your app” email two days after submission (Dec 28 -> Dec 30). But they said that they have everything from you, so I’d think that you should be fine. Now we just have to wait until mid-April… joy. :/</p>
<p>Singingactress, my son is a freshman at NU, and I don’t believe we heard anything from the school until he got his acceptance email, as Soozie said, in late March. Since the school has told you they have everything they need from you, try to relax (as if!) and think positive thoughts! Best of luck to you and wisdomsomehow.</p>
