I AM MOST DEFINITELY RETAKING MATH IN OCTOBER AND PROBABLY ENGLISH.

I’m going to take 4 AP’s my senior year: AP bio, english, european history, and calc.

This summer I’m interning with the Mayor of my city and also with the office of the Public Defender. I’m planning to study public policy, polisci, or law.
I also have a job as a store model (hollister).
I’m a Red Cross volunteer, have been a girl scout for 6 years, and i’m very active in community volunteering.

I’m in NHS, have gotten various academic achievement awards.
JV soccer for two years, JSA (political awareness group) for 2 years, Latin Club for two years.

my question is whether to apply early (action, if its even offered, or if not just apply as early as possibly regular) to COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON…OR wait until i take my sat I & II’s again, etc. i consider this school somewhat of a safety for me BUT i am out of state. its not my dream but i like it alot so i don’t want to take any unnecessary chances… what do you think?

Hollister actually has store models? Instead of mannequins?

Interesting stuff.

Anyways, I would wait until you see what happens with the SAT and possibly the GPA and then see what your options are. More options is always better in the college “search” market.

Good luck.

We have mannequins as well.

If you’ve ever gone into a hollister or an abercrombie and had someone standing there to greet you with “Hey, whats up?” or something… thats a store model.

And the problem is though if i wait for my sat it will be late november by the time i get my scores… you don’t think i should apply to a safe school that i like early?

You could do ED, but I wouldn’t do EA b/c then you’re really tied down in terms of what school you can go to, even if you get into a better school.

And…I see what you mean about store models. Now I completely understand. I thought you were like cat-walking it through the store or something. Yeah I have gone into Hollister/Abercrombie all the time, but didnt know those people were technically “store models.” That’s pretty funny.

Do you mean the opposite? ED (early decision) is the binding one, EA (early action) wouldn’t tie me down. EA is no committment.

And yeah i’m not sure why exactly we’re called that, the position used to be called “brand representative”.

Yeah sorry…I dont know what I was thinking with the screwup…i dont normally make such screwups…must be the lack of caffein and etc.

Yeah I dont know why they call you that either…it made me have a good laugh at myself though. I have a friend who used to do that for both abercrombie and Hollister…now im going to call and laugh at him! LOL!
