apply for aid at multiple schools?

<p>Hi everyone, I am applying to Masters programs in journalism – I found out a few weeks ago I got into Northwestern, and they have sent me all the resources I need to apply for financial aid.</p>

<p>But I am still waiting to hear from a few others and I’m not sure where I am going to go – so my question is – should I go ahead and apply for financial aid at Northwestern, or do I need to wait to hear from everywhere to go through that process?</p>

<p>Are there complications which can arise from getting financial aid offers (including loans, indeed I bet it will be mostly loans) from multiple schools?</p>

<p>There is no problem with multiple awards until disbursement time. Apply for financial aid with all the schools you have applied to. Once you decide on a school, contact the others to cancel the awards.</p>
