Apply to school of choice or...

I’ve got relatively low stats
GPA- 3.1/4 uw 3.86/5 w
SAT- 1630
SATII- 630 Math 660 literature
EC’s, LOR, and essays are fantastic.

Senior year course work (current grade):
APGOV (88-B+)
AP english language and comp(94-A)
Honors Statistics (87-B+ will get to A)
Honors Spanish 4 (90-A)
Honors World Affairs (101-A+)
Marketing 2- elective (95-A)

If I’m applying to BU, Northeastern, UCONN, Udel, And Syracuse and reach schools, should I apply directly to their school of management (marketing is my intended major) or should I apply to a college if general studies undecided, OR should I apply as a very uncommon major for a better shot at getting accepted? All advice would be much appreciated.

By the way I am applying to all early action except BU which I am applying ED to.

I’m also taking 2 college courses in which I have an A+ in. Western Civ and Fund. Of public speaking at my community college.

bump^^^^^^

Based on your stats, I’d say that the schools you have listed are mostly reach schools. Do you have schools more selective than the ones you have listed? If you want to do Marketing than I would apply to the school(s) of Management or Business. It is not always easy to transfer in after the fact, depending on the school. Your upward trend should help you when you send in your mid-year reports and for this reason you may not want to apply EA to all these schools.
