<p>Does UGA admit students directly to a specific college (say the Grady College of Journalism), or do they apply for their major in sophomore year?</p>

<p>You come in as an Intended-Your major here. Most majors you can go right into after the gateway courses, but for the high demand majors (<a href=“http://bulletin.uga.edu/bulletin/prg/index.html[/url]”>http://bulletin.uga.edu/bulletin/prg/index.html</a>) you normally apply after 60 credit hours have been earned.</p>
