Can i apply to both now? Thanks.

It appears to be similar to the U-Mich (Ann Arbor)‘s early notification program (which has been deemed OK by Yale to apply to both). You should contact Yale’s admissions office to double check about Illinois’ program. When you find out the answer, pls post what you hear on this thread. Good luck to you.

I emailed them to ask something else but they didnt reply… I’ll try again

Have u got ur answer?

Sorry, i haven’t emailed… Been busy these days…

If you’re talking about Urbana-Champaign, I’m almost positive that you can apply to both simultaneously. U of I’s “early action” program isn’t really a TRUE early action program, but a public school’s “priority period”.

I think Stanford said that they were okay with public school early programs, but Yale may be different? But I’m almost positive that they have generally the same rules regarding state schools.

Thanks.
I have never mailed anything before… I’m applying SCEA using paper application from overseas… Since the postmark deadline is november 1st, i can bring my application materials to fedex on the 21st october… And let’s assume my country is so far that it takes about 3 weeks to reach Yale… Then would the admission officers read my materials if they reach the office only on the 11th of november?.. Thanks…

no matter how long it takes (unless they get lost or sth of course) Yale will read your papers if they have been postmarked by 1 November.
