<p>I want to apply to CSU’s Chico and Sacramento and UC Davis, Merced and Santa Cruz for Fall 2013. I have a 3.4 GPA and, 1820 SAT score and 29 on the ACT. However I took a gap year after graduating in May 2012 to attend a vocational school for licenced vocational nursing. I have a question about the A-G requirements because in the last semester of my senior year, I got a D in my Spanish 2 course and also my AP Calculus course. I have passed every year of Math up until then so I have my 3 years of my math A-G requirement fulfilled. But my I only have 1.5 years of Spanish. Can I still apply for admission as a freshmen in Fall 2013? Also, is it possible to bypass the requirement if I were to take a course in a community college for Spanish or take the Spanish subject test in the SAT?</p>
