(How long does it take for TAP to be processed, by the way? I need the money to pay for my books…)
Im stuck on a question thats asking for how much support parent 1 provides for me…should I enter that on a monthly basis or a yearly basis?
TAP does not pay for books. Money can only be used for tuition. Unless you are 35 years old, you are a dependent student for NYS TAP. Answer the question, which is usually posted as will you receive more than $750/year and it is either yes or no. Make sure that you list the school that you are attending before you submit. HESC should process in about 5 days. Then you will have to go through the verification process at whatever school you are attending.
