Applying late to Penn State

Would it even be worth it to apply to Penn State so late in the game?

Here are my stats:
3.64 weighted GPA
6 AP classes and 1 honors
Over 100 hours of community service
1210 SAT score
Secretary then President of Tri-M
Officer of Gay-Straight Alliance

The reason why I’m applying so late is because I have been accepted into the colleges that I would like, so I’m freaking out a little.

I honestly don’t know.If you’re desperate to go somewhere, I would check for colleges with ROLLING admissions because they accept up to the May 1st descision deadline

Penn State technically has “rolling admissions,” but the priority deadline was November 30th, and it gets much harder to get in after that. A branch campus might be your most likely bet, which might not be worth it for an out-of-state student. But you can try putting main campus – just be sure to put a branch as a backup.

If you apply to Penn State, apply non STEM. Go look at their acceptance thread. Good information about which majors have a better admit rate.

If you’re applying for Liberal Arts or Agriculture, there are still spots so you may have a shot. If you’re OOS realize there won’t be any financial aid (beside the federal loans).
