bump… any ideas?

Not a single idea i guess…

btw, school was ranked 70th on US News & World Report

It’s probably a coin-flip. I don’t know if the gpa is top 10%, but the SAT is kinda low, especially if admissions is as serious about including Writing as it claims to be. ECs seem alright, but nothing jumps out as extraordinary. You’ll need really good essays and LoRs.

You have grades/standardized test scores right in the middle of the accepted range. Your ECs are solid though not exceptional. Your Egyptian heritage and Arabic language skills will set you apart from the pack and likely work to your advantage. You’re a strong candidate.

There’s some EC’s I forgot

French Club (not currently, but was in it)
Muslim Youth Group

Dunno if that makes much of a difference. Yeah I’m trying to improve grades for this term…hopefully the admissions officers see that I have enough of an upward trend that my grades become good enough
