Applying to be a SAT Proctor

Hi,

I recently graduated from high school and would like to know how to become a SAT proctor. I did not have a pleasant experience taking SAT tests and I swore one day while doing a practice test that I would become a SAT proctor so I can enjoyably watch kids suffer like I did taking multiple-hour test(s). I am most interested in proctoring for the general SAT(that test is the longest), so information on how to proctor for that test specifically would be most appreciated!

And yes, I know someone made a thread like this once, but I didn’t find any satisfactory answers on it.

“I swore one day while doing a practice test that I would become a SAT proctor so I can enjoyably watch kids suffer like I did taking multiple-hour test(s).”

I don’t think this is a good reason why you should become a proctor. In fact, I’m a bit scared. Something is not right about you. Haha.

I feel your anguish!

*an SAT proctor.

If that is the reason you want to proctor, I would save yourself the trouble ( and the kids who you would be proctoring).

There’s no trouble, really. This would just be for my entertainment.

Ha ha, I always knew that this was the type of person who is an SAT proctor. Anyhow, contact the College Board, but leave out your motivation.

Give the kids 30 seconds of more time. Be cool.

Proctors are hired directly by the testing sites. CB has nothing to do with paying or selecting proctors.

^ That would make sense, because my proctors are always affiliated somehow with the host.
