Applying to Biology Programs but taking AP Bio senior year

I’m interested in going the pre-med route and my parents are interested in me attending Ivy-League/top schools because we don’t have much money and they have better financial aid. I’ve taken honors biology and chem, AP physics 1, Anatomy honors, pathophysiology honors, but am taking Ap chem and Bio senior year. Will this harm me? I was planning to take chem junior year but after experiencing how bad the teacher was I decided to switch to patho and study over the summer for it instead.

You will report what your classes are on your common app so schools will know that you are taking them senior year. If you are applying regular decision, they will also see midterm grades.

Cast a wide net on your college search. The Ivies are a long shot for everyone. Lots of great schools offer merit money especially if you have ACT/SAT scores.
