Applying to colleges last minute

<p>I want to apply to more colleges if I have time, so:</p>

<p>Suppose I want to apply to, let’s say, Columbia, and the app is due like Jan.1. Can I finish the app before that date, postmark/submit it online, then go to collegeboard.com and ask them to send my tests to them and I request they do that on like Dec.20, will that be allright for getting into the admissions process?</p>

<p>if u could be more specific I would appreciate it. Like, do you actually need to get the scores to the colleges by the deadlines that are listed? What’s the deal?</p>
