<p>Can you apply to colleges up to 6-10 months ahead? I have an idea of what schools I want to go to, one in particular as an early decision, and is excited to begin applying to them. This isn’t a major factor in why I’m doing this but will it increase my chances if the college sees the applicant is anxious to get in?</p>
<p>You apply when they release the application, which, at the earliest, is usually around August first for applying for the coming fall term. I don’t know why you would apply any earlier than that.</p>
