Applying to schools that have few latinos

I’m Latino. And lately I’ve been thinking about my chances into schools that have a very small Hispanic population. Schools such as U of Alabama, U of Miss, Ohio U, and Purdue U have a Hispanic population of 3 or less percent.

How greatly are my chances into these schools increased? And what are my chances into these schools?

I would like to point out that I don’t have a good GPA or SAT scores.

Myself

430 SAT CR, 530 SAT M

2.3 GPA

U of Alabama averages

490-600 SAT CR, 500-610 SAT M

21% had HS GPA under 3.0

2% Hispanic

U of Mississippi averages

450-580 SAT CR, 460-580 SAT M

35% had HS GPA under 3.0

2% Hispanic

Ohio University averages

480-600 SAT CR, 490-600 SAT M

16% had HS GPA under 3.0

2% Hispanic

Purdue University averages

490-610 SAT CR, 530-660 SAT M

21% had HS GPA under 3.0

3% Hispanic

No help???

You have NO chance of getting into those schools, try community college.

Absolutely no shot?

Yeah… SATs and GPA are just way too low

BAMA - reach
MISS - reach
OHIO - reach
Purdue - reach
I would try other schools my gpa is bad (83) but I have high SATs (1200) which shows that I am smart but don’t try, maybe get the SATs to over 550, who knows.
