Hi, so I was reading at past threads about SHA and everyone says it’s essential to have proper work experience in order to be considered for the school. However, because of complications with my visas, I am not legally allowed to work or intern in the US, which is where I live. I guess the most “hospitality” experience I would have is through DECA, where even though I didn’t do the hospitality event, I did work with a restaurant for my project two years ago and will do the same this year. Because of this, would I be heavily discounted and be better off applying CAS? I am interested in both the Hotel school and being a econ major at CAS, but would prefer to have a business oriented education.
