<p>Has anyone ever applied into the Production Technology & Management Major in the Art School? I’m a rising senior and would apply to that program when I apply to CMU. But my high school has had some issues when it came to keeping our theatre staff. We have had 6 tech or theatre teachers in three years. So none of the senior have really had anyone to help us get into a college program, especially using a portfolio. So if anyone has ever applied to the PTM it would be great if you could describe the experience. Thanks so much!</p>

<p>They just want to see some examples of your work. Pictures of shows, sketches, forms you worked on. The process is more important than the finished product. DO NOT INCLUDE PROGRAMS! This is really unhelpful and just looks like you’re trying to fluff your portfolio. You can include some other things you’ve done, even if it’s not tech related. I made a model for my architecture class and included pictures in my portfolio. I also included some art photography and knitting. Anything that will help them get a good idea of who you are and how you work.</p>
