Applying to Yale EA, is my schedule good enough?

This year is my last year in high school and so far I have a 3.3 which I’m trying to raise (freshman year was a pain for me). For my schedule this year I have:

Web Page Designing
Phys Ed
AP English
AP Biology
AP Calculus
Advanced Digital Filmmaking

Is this good enough for Yale? I know they typically accept students with four years of math. So far I’ve had algebra one, geometry and algebra two. I’ve passed them all with B minuses.

A 3.3 GPA and your 1730 SAT are not viable at all for Yale – I’m sorry to say. Please look at some of the threads here to guage your chances. <a href=“Yale Resource Thread - START HERE - Yale University - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/894282-yale-resource-thread-start-here-p1.html</a>

You should make an appt w/your guid counselor to form a set of colleges that best match your desires and academic achievement to date. Perhaps try this, too:

Its would be incredibly hard to get into Yale with that GPA. I would say the course rigor needs to be harder for Yale, if your school offers more AP/honors courses. In your situation, however, I would suggest sticking with your course schedule, focus on raising your gpa, and most certainly apply to more colleges that match your GPA/Testing.

Many students with 2300+ SAT scores and 4.0 GPAs, including all As in maths are rejected. I am afraid the answer is no.
