Applying Undecided to an Ivy League?

Hi,

I applied as undecided interdisciplinary to UPenn. In my essays, I emphasized my passion for interdiscipline by describing my interests in 2 drastically different fields and I have no idea which to choose yet. Will applying undecided hurt me? I was recently told by someone that is shows you have no drive or spike, but I seem to love the possiblities of interdiscpline rather than one subject, and there is no way to pursue both at the same time, unless your a double major, some colleges require you to put down one choice on the application.

Please help…will applying undecided to highly selective schools hurt me.

I’m Indian, interested in pre-med…

Are your academic interests all within the same division (Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Nursing, or Wharton) at Penn?

yes @ucbalumnus

At every Ivy info session I’ve sat through, this question comes up. Each time, the answer is no – every school.
