Applying Undecided

What are the requirements for applying to Cornell when it comes to the SAT subject tests? Since certain schools require and one only recommends having taken the subject tests, are you still required to submit subject tests if your major is undeclared? I guess I’m really confused

Are you applying CAS?

I guess I am? I’m not sure… Thats why I was going with the whole undecided thing… I’m really confused

I haven’t taken the subject tests thats why I was wondering if I could still apply…

I thought you needed the subject tests to apply. I also thought you needed to apply to a specific school (with a possible 2cd school). When my kids applied a few years back they were required to have a major in their college.

you can apply undecided (I did and was accepted)
however, you need to have at least 2 SAT subject tests.
the requirements are listed on the website for each school.

you do need to apply to one of the seven undergrad schools - check the website cornell.edu for more information on the various undergrad schools. knowing which one is “easiest” to get into is not really relevant as the schools with the most varied stats (SAT’s, GPAs 0 are the ones that require the greatest demonstrated interest - i.e. work experience or ECs…

after you decide what school you are applying to, you may or may not need to declare a major…
