What do you consider a place of service for ApplyTexas? Last year, I spent around 20 hours helping an elderly woman in my community whose house was struck by lightening and caught on fire. She wasn’t able to live in her house for around a year, so for my National Honor Society Individual Service Project I pretty much kept up with her yard while she was gone. Can I include this with the rest of my service hours? If so, what can I put for the place of service? Thanks!
Yes you could put that. You could list it under National Honor Society since they sponsored the project or you can say Independent Community Volunteer Hours and describe them.
