<p>My D has been accepted for the Institute of Educational Advancement Apprenticeship program at the UCLA’s Semel Institute for the Summer 2013.
Has anybody done that before and do you have anything specific to say about this program? This is a research position where she will be shadowing neuropsychologists and professors and will be involved in the research.</p>
<p>Do you think this apprenticeship position can work to her advantage in getting admitted to UCLA? She has a score of 2180 in her SAT and an unweighted GPA of close to 3.6. And her main area of interest is Psychiatry.</p>
