Appropriate Safeties for my Stats?

GPA: 3.66
Private University
Strengths: 2 Solid Recommendations, Good Essays
Weaknesses: Have two w’s! One from first semester with valid reason, second from second semester in Calculus with no reason given. Will this be a big deal?

Any help would be amazing!

Need more info obviously.

What private school?

How many units?

Extra curriculars?

School: Sorry dont want to specify, but it’s one of the top three regional schools on US News if that helps.
Units: 13 first, 14 for the second but I’m going to somehow add 2 more credits to the second.
Extra Curriculars: N/A at the moment. Wanted to focus on grades :/

Sat scores still matter please post them. Or act of course. High school transcript still matters as well so please post that info.

Location and financial situation will be a factor in determining a safety school as well. After that stuff is posted I’ll make a list of schools for you.

You could transfer somewhere a lot better if you stayed another year at your current school, improved your grades and got involved in a major-related activity. I’m not sure too many colleges would be interested with two W’s in two semesters and a 3.66gpa.

ACT: 27
High School: Challenging Private School 3.33 (school doesnt do weighted or unweighted)
Home State: Kentucky
Financial Status: Don’t need financial aid etc. so not a problem

I figured if I had good recs, essays, and raised my gpa the W’s might not be as much of a problem. I could definitely be wrong but I’m really hoping they overlook them as one as a legitimate excuse.
