The answer was definitely that he refused to comment upon who had the most difficult time. He clearly said “who am I to say who’s had it the hardest?” or something like that

i also put down name change. he also said here that whether justified or not, people are in their full right to do so or something along those lines…

also was npiece even mentioned in the piece guys? I don’t remember that…

skylimits: …like, I remember that too, but he also qualified the “immigrant’s change their name for the pursuit of happiness” thing with “whether warranted or not,” and this was, like, in the same paragraph he was talking about his family’s name?

I’m probably over-thinking this (as is my nature). Screw it. You guys are right. I’m going to actually have a worse score than last time. :(

so was name change 2 of the answers? there was another question with name change as well, right

I only used something related to the name change once…

It could very well have been an answer choice to another problem though.

does anyone remember the letter of the correct answer for number 38 in reading?

What was the wording of the question?

what did u guys say was the main idea for the metamorphosis passage? discoveries that other scientists elaborated off of, or historical significance of the botanist

Discoveries that other scientists elaborated off of.

The first few paragraphs were about lady botanist, the rest were about the science men. :)

Yeah, definitely the discoveries

Were there a lot of C’s towards the end (about #35-40)?

I definitely remember a string of letters…

was there a question worded “who was the first to improve upon the technologies” (was the photography passage) or was it, who first invented it? if it was improved it would be daguerro. that is who i put.

It was daguerro(Sp?).
He was the one to develop fixed images.

I’m not sure that’s one of the two I missed (I think) I put Daguerro apparently it was the guy who first invented it who Daguerro improved on

I just used POE, and it was left with Daguerro(sp?) and the guy who he was working for.
So I believe Daugerro should be the answer.

and @htennis13

I believe it was H, the question was about catepillars and the answer was directly stated at the end of the 2nd or 3rd paragraph.

The passage said "catepillars were placed among the likes of … and …, if at all.

And the answer choice was word for word. Anyone remember it?

winged creatures when they were classified at all I believe^?

I just used POE, and it was left with Daguerro(sp?) and the guy who he was working for.
So I believe Daugerro should be the answer.

That’s what I thought, somebody posted the contrary tho.

@Toby1380, yes, the other guy in the first few sentences invented it, and daguerro improved upon it, but i almost distinctly remember the question asking for who was the first to improve upon it.

WOOT. So it’s Daguerro?
